Lots of great original poetry in an online journal format, too. 5/26/2000Book Sighting:On CBS News, Friday, May 12, a copy of What to do When
the Police Leave could be seen on camera during an interview with Christine Todd
about the Million Mom March. Earlier that week, Senator Chuck Robb invited a panel
of homicide victims, including Bill Jenkins and Christine Todd to Northern Virginia.
All the attendees received a signed copy of the book. Christine had it with
her during her interview later in the week and it could be seen next to her on the table
at the end of the interview. 5/10/2000We have some new friends at Babysteps. A very nice website filled with some valuable and useful resources for bereaved families, especially those suffering the loss of a young child. I can identify with the authors in many ways, especially that of not finding the resources which should have been readily available in our loss. This is another site and another family which has tried to bring victory out of tragedy and order out of chaos.
